It is truly a "hands on" ministry at FBC. Our full name is Applause Puppet Team, Giving Jesus a Hand. We literally use our hands to spread the good news to people of all ages. All of our performances applaud our Savior and give Him praise & glory. The ministry has been in existence for over 20 years. Currently, the team consists of 13 team members ranging in ages from 10 years to adult. The team is involved in two major outreach events each year at Easter and Halloween. They have performed at camps and other churches, as well as performances at FBC in Awana clubs and W.O.W. Each year they travel to a Puppetry Festival where they compete in song and skit competition. The team invites new members to join each fall. Anyone wishing to join must be in 4th grade or older and must attend a puppetry workshop at FBC.
