I consider myself a small town girl, born and raised on a dairy farm near Rock Valley, Iowa. After graduating from UNI, I came to the Marshalltown area, teaching at GMG High School for the next 10 years.
During those 10 years of teaching, I met my husband, Tim, right here at FBC in the Young Adults group. Tim and I have two children, Jared, who is 15 years old and Lauren, who is 13 years old. I've been a stay-home mom for the last 10 years, homeschooling our children. Some of my hobbies are scrapbooking, reading and watching movies with my family.
